About
Q. How can we provide high-quality, interest-based tourism experiences to foreign visitors by connecting them with local Koreans who share their passions?
Providing travel information in Korean which is based on the customer’s culture and interest, with Korean CP(Content Provider) and foreigners CP who have experienced Korean culture.
By hiring foreigners as ‘Content Providers (CP)’ who already have experienced Korean culture, I created a platform for providing travel information to provide high satisfaction of Korean trips according to their tastes.
Problem
The information is scattered online. Especially, Tourism is a huge red ocean. so travelers can not find the proper information for them. It’s indeed a high possibility that users can be disappointed in their trip. They also have needs to meet up with the local people and get guided by them to enjoy real Korean culture.

- After surveying, the most common interests or the things what they want to acquire while they are staying in Korea were getting to know about Korea more by traveling, having a chance to talk to Koreans more, and activities regarding music or K-pop.
- I categorized foreigners who are staying in Korea by the below, and I figured out each of them belonged to different group. So, I need to approach them in different ways.

- Koreans are active in using English, so sometime they don’t feel necessary to use Korean. But at the same time, Korean feels appreciated for foreigners to use Korean when they tried.
- Each category of them had their own communities in ‘Group chatroom on Kakaotalk’, ‘Slack’, and ‘Instagram’, especially exchange students had their school’s group chatrooms on Kakaotalk in every different semesters.
- Foreign employees, including normal employees, digital nomads, teachers, and others, also had their community for sharing helpful information living in Korea.
